We've coordinated hundreds of community and cultural events, concerts, parades, tree lighting ceremonies, and fireworks to ring in the New Year. Press conferences, grand opening ceremonies, outdoor movies, yoga in the park, business recruitment mixers and art and wine soirees top off the list.

We have successfully applied and been awarded many grants, sponsorships and support for downtown development projects.
This includes grants from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority(MSHDA), Michigan Economic Development Corporation(MEDC), Michigan Department of Transportation(MDOT), the National Trust for Historic Preservation as well as international and local foundations, companies and non-profits organizations.

Our team has experience with large scale developments like the Riverfront Condominium Development, a $5.5 million dollar mixed-use development, As chief developer and project manager, we identified three historic structures, assembled a layered financing package and developed plans for 24 high-end residential condominiums and five retail store fronts. Phase I of the development garnered national coverage and was featured on HGTV’s Restore America.
Additional awards for this development included: Merit Award-Highest Honor, American Institute of Architects (2009), Building Award, Michigan Historic Preservation Society (2008), National Trust for Historic Preservation (2006) and the Cool City Grant/Award, State of Michigan (2005).

Our team has led marketing and advertising campaigns for downtown development organizations in Michigan and California.
We can craft a targeted marketing strategy and re-brand your downtown to include new websites, new graphics, messaging, and activate social media outlets. We can also develop cross-promotional pieces, co-op ad campaigns, and electronic newsletters. We can work with your team to assemble a media calendar with scheduled news releases to the media resulting in continuous positive coverage.

We have experience with streetscape improvements projects and successfully secured funding through the Michigan Department of Transportation. We love working with City staff, Clean and Safe crew members and volunteers to keep downtown clean and attractive.
Our team has implemented new wayfinding signage systems involving over 100 signs and self-guided walking tours in two Downtowns. We can create downtown maintenance and seasonal/holiday décor plans by partnering with your City personnel, local arboretum society and or landscaping company and volunteers.
